Apache von Siegfried
Adopted

Apache is a stunning 95 pound classic looking German Shepherd. He is three years old and has the stockier build of the German line of shepherds. We know you can't find a more handsome boy anywhere. Apache is very people oriented and loves to press his body close to you. Apache was held for a month at a city shelter. His owner went to prison and they waited for family members to come forward. The jail sentence had nothing to do with Apache, he was obviously loved and well cared for. Apache is accustomed to the car and jumped right in; he is good on the leash and seems to have some training. Apache emerged from the shelter looking like he was ready for GQ magazine. We had many emails from other rescue groups alerting us to the fact that people looking for a guard dog were interested in Apache. One of our volunteers was at the shelter at 8:00 the day Apache became available to the public. Minutes later a man arrived who was interested in Apache, he was turning in his own dog to the shelter because it was "too sweet." Poor Apache would have been dumped too when he found out that he was also sweet. We are asking $500 for this big guy which goes back 100% to Apache and other dogs in need.
