Dixie von Dusseldorf is a beautiful, stunning 4 year old German Shepherd. She has a lush, thick, blonde coat and golden amber eyes. She turns heads everywhere she goes. Dixie is an incredibly loving and devoted girl who will make her future family feel like the world revolves around them, and it will. Dixie loves to run and play, as you can see from the photo, and then snuggles her head in your lap and waits for scratches! She takes treats very gently. Her favorite thing is to give you her paw. As soon as she sees you, she leans and offers her paw, without even asking, as if to greet you and say "hi." She has great house manners and can be left alone in the house. She is housebroken and even seems to enjoy sleeping in a crate. Dixie would be happy just to stay at home and play in the yard.
Dixie is extremely intelligent and a quick learner. She has had training, is obedient, and knows commands. When you tell her to sit, lie down, or stay, she responds immediately (and then gives you a "high five!"). Dixie's best friend would be an adult who has had experience with German Shepherds and who is looking for the
quintessential shepherd.
