Special thanks to the incredible people who touched Cody’s life and gave his sad story the most incredible happy ending. He now has his own lake with ducks and five acres to romp and play with 5 other dogs and a family that adores him!

Poor gentle giant awaited his fate. He was to be euthanized at the South Los Angeles Shelter on Tuesday unless we helped him. Maybe he survived on his own, maybe he was someone’s junkyard dog, we know some things for sure; What he has had of life so far hasn’t been worth living, he was to have died on Tuesday - 6-6-06, never having known what it is to be cared for and loved. Despite having been so neglected, he is a big sweet guy who wants to put his head in your lap. He has a page of medical notes, but he still has a few more years to be loved and to blossom and to enjoy all the good things life has to offer. He won’t be perfect, but he can be happy.We had to take him since we don’t want him to spend what time he has left of life on a cold concrete floor; we need to find him a home, we need money for his medical needs. We need your help to save him! It might make more sense to save the young and beautiful, but this sweet boy just touched our hearts.
It just seems too rotten to let him die without
ever having really lived.
