Sweet Pea isn’t your ordinary beautiful dog, not to say he isn’t adorable, but it is his soul that shows through, he radiates a quiet charm and a warmth that no one can miss. He captivates people, even burned out tired people at the shelter, everyone wanted to help save Sweet Pea (except his family wherever they were) We couldn’t understand why a volunteer would name a big, male German Shepherd Sweet Pea until we met him. One look at those eyes and we understood. We were passionately in love too! It is hard to get pictures of Sweet Pea, he just wants to roll over for you and have his tummy rubbed. Even though he isn’t in the best shape, he makes you laugh to see him so happy with a few moments of your time and some green grass. Sweet Pea is close to 7 years old but he has so many years left to light up your life. Sweet Pea is looking for that special person who has a heart as big as his!
