Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Una is an energetic and wonderful 6 mos old German Shepherd puppy. She will be medium in size when full grown. Una is a happy girl who loves to play with other dogs and humans, but as with many puppies, she tends to get a little mouthy in her enthusiasm and even though she is only playing, those puppy teeth are still pretty sharp. We recommend that she goes to a home with older children or an all adult household for that reason. She is almost housebroken and is a very quick learner. We feel she would do well in an active home as she likes to learn and do something. This is a typical German Shepherd trait, bred to work, and thrive when their intelligence is put to good use. She is good in the car and walks very well on leash. She spent the weekend in a home with 2 cats and seemed ok with them. Una would be happy as an only dog but she prefers and would LOVE to be in a home with another dog to play with. If so, she needs to be paired up with a male because she is a bit on the Alpha side. She responds well to correction and her new owners will need to continue her training to make her the best she can be
