Vinnie von Lancaster pint size lovebug!

Vinnie is a 4 year old longhair shepherd (opps! Dachsund!) that our volunteer found irresistible at the local shelter. Life hasn't been kind to Vinnie lately, his beautiful dapple coat was matted and in need of a good grooming. He had the remnants of a rope attached to his collar, so more than likely Vinnie had been tied outside to live, which is no life for a dog. A quick grooming has Vinnie looking and feeling better. Vinnie was very good for his bath, and even stood quietly for his blow-dry. It seems that Vinnie once had regular grooming, the dryer didn't even faze him. Vinnie is very sweet, and gets along with other dogs. Vinnie is also crate trained, and sleeps as quite as a mouse. He met the foster family's cat and did not indicate any interest, which is asking a lot from a varmint dog! Vinnie is approximately 10 lbs at present, and could add just a couple more pounds. Vinnie rides well in the car and is ready to give you 110% of his love!
