Harley von Meredith is a Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd. He is a taller than a Belgian, but has their grace and elegance. Harley is a dog who loves the company of other dogs so much. It is so cute to see him literally smile when he gets to walk with another dog or hang out on the grass. He is fine with males and females a like. We can see that he didn’t get much people attention and is hesitant at first, but he quickly accepts new nice people. Harley enjoyed the ride from the shelter, and settled right down. He was a favorite at the shelter where he was rescued. He did very well on their behavioral evaluation. He is very quiet and doesn't draw attention to himself and has a unique way of making other dogs comfortable. The staff realized that he had this special quality and used and tested him further to demonstrate temperament testing. Harley had a perfect score and was the talk of the shelter. Harley was happiest in the shelter when he was kenneled with another dog. One of our volunteers refers to him as the "Dog Whisperer."
